Crafting Herbal Teas with with Laura Hamill
Our introduction herbal classes are open to all, from curious beginners to budding herbalist’s and blooming healers!
Herbs surround us. They persist, undeterred allies, in human spaces, often unnoticed as we run through our day. There is a generous strength in their assertion and a softness in the healing they offer freely. As we tune in and welcome herbs into our daily routine, a shift in our internal state is sparked.
In this class we will dive into foundations of crafting herbal tea blends including how to assess quality, pick, process, and store. We’ll also talk about common nutritive herbs you can incorporate into your routine immediately. This class will have you feeling confident and inspired to make your own tea blends and to deepen your relationship with our vast plant community.

Laura Hamill
Laura Hamill is the Founder and Director of Perennial Collective, an herbal tea and self-care company whose mandate is sourcing and sharing regionally grounded, beautifully paired herbs for both spiritual and physical well-being. Laura has managed and worked on organic farms and as a natural foods chef for more than a decade. Her deep experience in the world of food production has led her to seek out and nurture food systems that have both ethical and aesthetic integrity.
With this vision in mind, Laura offers classes that allow people to connect with the herbs that grow around them: their uses, their history, and their lore. She believes that the better we can understand the landscape on its own terms, by season and region, the greater the abundance nature will share with us.
