Edible Jersey’s Eat Drink Local Week!

Market Pizza will be taking a page out of Bon Appetite’s magazine. Using locally sourced ingredients from Cervenka Farms in Flemington and Fulper Farms in Lambertville.
First weekend of Eat Drink Local Restaurant Week Pizza special will be Roasted Zucchini,Red Onions with Lemon Ricotta, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Garlic topped off with Lemon Zest & Red Pepper.
Second weekend the featured pizza special will have a special twist! Currently they are running a contest and the winner won’t be revealed until the 28th! Pizza will feature either Trenton Pork Roll or Taylor Ham with egg, white cheddar, mozzarella, Jersey fresh tomato sauce and everything bagel seasoning. Come out and vote to make your favorite the winner!
Boucherie, Gouter, & Charcuterie
RSC Atelier is the new brainchild of Paul Mitchell and Alida Saxon who have nearly 40 years of experience in professional kitchens all over America. They offer select cuts of meat from small farms in Hunterdon & Bucks Counties, a rotating tasting menu of small plates presented to share with house made foccacia bread, as well as pre-packaged charcuterie & accompaniments.
Sciascia Confections is able to incorporate many local ingredients into their delightful delicacies!
Bee pollen and honey from from Tassot Apiaries, Alexandria Township, NJ. Used in our Sciascia Truffles called “Honey, I’m Home” and “Duke of Earl Grey Tea.”
Sciascia’s own organically-grown mint. Used in our “Peppermint Patty” truffle and in our “Mint Chocolate Chip” French macaron.
Blackberry and cabernet wines, grown in Ringoes, NJ, from Old York Cellars.
Rye Whiskey from Dad’s Hat Distillery, Bristol, PA who uses PA rye to make their whisky.

Highland Gourmet Market
Highland Gourmet Market is well known for it’s grass fed Highland beef, raised on their two farms in Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County. Their pork products are sourced from hogs raised in Warren County, NJ and their chicken is supplied from small farms in Lancaster PA through FreeBird.
Meadows and More
Meadows and More is a local business based in Hunterdon County, NJ. They offer wild mushrooms (such as local chanterelles, chicken of the woods, hen of the woods, yellowfeet) and herbs and fruit that are local to New Jersey and Pennsylvania. When they cannot pick them themselves due to weather conditions or in the middle of winter, we source from their forager friends. They also offer cultivated mushrooms year round that are grown in PA.
They also carry on the tradition of Mushrooms, etc.and offer feta and olive mixes and tapenade which are bought from a local small family business.
During the Eat Drink Local Restaurant Week, they expect to carry seasonal local pawpaws!
Chef Luke Prosseda offers specialty sandwiches, fresh salads, to go food, as well as farm fresh omelettes using the highest quality ingredients from local sources. With an eye toward sustainability for chefs and farmers alike, he has worked closely with farms in the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos.
Luke’s focus is seasonality, combined with a desire for exploring the beauty in simplicity of ingredients. With that goal, the idea for a menu based on change was born. Mutatio takes regional cuisine and allows Luke to use his curiosity and skill to create new menus based on fresh products available at the moment.
Mutatio will have a rotating menu. It will showcase what we are growing, foraging, and catching. Sticking to the model allows Mutatio to provide you with the opportunity to experience simple food made with high quality ingredients.
Apple Ridge Farm
Artisanal sourdough breads baked in a wood fired oven from Saylorsburg, PA. The bakery uses items from our farm in many of their products. They also source their flour from two regional organic mills, Farmer Ground and Champlain Valley both from New York State.
For Edible New Jersey, Metro will be featuring a New Jersey harvested Oyster. This one is called a High Bar Harbor coming from The Barnegat Oyster Collective. These oysters are harvested off of Long Beach Island. It will defiantly be a hot Item for the market.
