Healthy Holiday Digestion
With the holidays right around the corner, there are many family gatherings and parties. Accompanying the fellowship is often lots of wonderful and rich food. This time of year, it is easy to over indulge and experience digestive discomfort.
In this class we will talk about my favorite herbal remedies for improving digestion, and their herbal actions. In addition, we will sample some herbal tinctures and teas.
Individuals will receive a handout that includes several recipes to make at home.
$35 in advance per session
$40 at the door per session
tickets are non-refundable
My mission is to reconnect people with plants for optimum health and balance through herbal consultations, custom blends, and classes/workshops because plants and people are made for each other.
I am the founder of Cultivating Roots LLC, a small-scale herb farm and apothecary based out of Bucks County, PA and Titusville, NJ. Most recently, I formed an Herbalists Without Borders chapter in Mercer County, NJ because I believe health and wellness is our birthright, and everyone deserves equal access.
I have a Bachelor of Sciences degree in biology, and have spent the last several years working and studying with different herbalists. I finished the two-year clinical herbalist training program at David Winston’s Center for Herbal Studies, where I am currently taking a Therapeutics program. In addition, I am working with Andrew Appello of Healthy Living Acupuncture in Princeton, NJ to become a registered herbalist of the American Herbalist Guild. I will always be a student, and will forever be in awe of the plants.
