Exploring How Plants Heal Series:
Plants Personalities. Meeting the Plants.
with Cathlin Star Walker
What better way to honor the Summer Solstice than to spend some time outside. We will gather indoors and then make our way outside to commune with the plant allies. (If it rains, we will stay inside.)
In this workshop we’ll honor the solstice and the container we have tended during this series – we will meet a few specific plants and honor their magical and medicinal properties by creating our own sacred ritual during class.
Exploring How Plants Heal is a series of four workshops all about the magic and sustenance of the plant world. We will begin with simple ways plants arrive in our lives and how we can foster relationships with them, to the more mundane and mindful practices that plants can inform in our daily lives. This workshop is for anyone who has dreamt of a plant, been haunted by a garden or grove in the forest, or used an herbal remedy. If you have any inkling of curiosity about the magic of plants this is a great place to start.
Part plant, part tarot, part ritual magic, this is the final of our four part series, Exploring How Plants Heal. In honor of the solstice and the container we have tended during this series we will meet a few specific plants and honor their magical and medicinal properties by creating our own sacred ritual during class. We will dip our toes into the intersection of Tarot and Plants as we will build our own interactive altar as we listen to the plants and what they have to teach us.
