Toast is the newest venture by Natasha Nepveu, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. Natasha trained at The NoMad Restaurant and Contra in New York City, and Attica, in Melbourne, Australia. She recently helped Chef Diego Garcia open Gloria, a pescatarian restaurant in Manhattan.
Working closely with Stone Oven Bakery at Apple Ridge Farms, Toast will present a range of breads with toppings of egg salad, chicken salad, compound butters, smoked salmon, sprats (smoked sardines), and more. Specialty sandwiches include a cubano and open-faced smashed pea with poached egg.
A range of salads will be offered in half-pint, pint and quart containers.
